- title: Montclair
- type: city
- jurisdiction: City of Montclair

## Key findings
- **Mayor John Dutrey is running again.** He has been on the council or planning commission since about 1990 and has been mayor since 2018. I found no reported challenger. [^1]
- **Two at-large council seats:** incumbents **Bill Ruh** and **Corysa Martinez** face **Alice Garcia** and **Victor Mendez**. [^1]
- A **recall drive** against Councilman Ben Lopez, whose term runs to 2028, is collecting money, but it isn't on this ballot. [^2][^1]
- Montclair's sales tax is already **9%**, the highest of any city in the county today. [^1]
