Chino Valley Fire District
On the ballot: Board District 3
Key findings
- District 3 is a rematch of old fights. Incumbent board vice president Tom Haughey, a former Chino councilman of almost 20 years, faces Winn Williams, a retired Chino Valley firefighter and former fire board member. [1][2]
- Williams was censured three times by the fire board in 2019. The censures were for violating district policy, publicly criticizing the fire chief, and contacting staff and entering non-public areas despite restrictions. He said the evidence was "manufactured." [3]
- District 5 (board president Mike Kreeger) is unopposed. [1]
